04 About LEGO City Undercover

LEGO City Undercover is an action-adventure game developed by TT Games and published by Warner Bros. Released for Nintendo Switch on April 07, 2017, it follows undercover police officer Chase McCain as he returns to LEGO City.

Chase’s assignment is to find Rex Fury, a criminal who has escaped from prison and threatens the city’s peace. The investigation takes him through criminal gangs, missions, and a larger conspiracy, presented with LEGO-style comedy and colorful characters.

The adventure takes place across a large open-world LEGO City with districts, landmarks, secrets, collectibles, side activities, and environmental puzzles. Players can roam the city between missions, gather LEGO Studs, and seek out characters and vehicles to unlock.

Disguises and investigation

Chase can use more than eight disguises during his work. Each outfit provides abilities for particular situations, such as opening safes as a robber or putting out fires as a fireman. These skills are used to solve puzzles, access new areas, and continue the investigation.

Driving and pursuits

Vehicles play a major role in travelling around the city and taking part in pursuits. Cars, trucks, helicopters, and boats are among the available rides, while vehicle tokens unlock additional options. Chases, stunts, races, and timed challenges add variety to the crime-fighting action.
