Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE – Digital Deluxe Edition is an action-adventure detective game set in Kanai Ward, a rain-drenched city controlled by a megacorporation. It follows Yuma Kokohead, an amnesiac detective-in-training accompanied by the death god Shinigami.

Yuma works alongside the World Detective Organization’s Master Detectives to investigate the city’s unresolved cases. Their search for answers gradually leads toward Kanai Ward’s concealed secrets and Yuma’s lost memories.

Investigations in Kanai Ward

Cases begin with exploration across Kanai Ward’s gloomy streets and neon-lit locations. Yuma examines surroundings, speaks with characters, and collects testimonies and evidence. The Master Detectives bring individual Forte abilities to investigations, offering specialized help when confronting obstacles and mysteries.

The Mystery Labyrinth

After gathering enough information, each case moves into the Mystery Labyrinth, an ever-changing realm that gives form to the investigation’s unanswered questions. Here, collected evidence becomes Solution Keys used to challenge false statements and expose contradictions.

Deduction Under Pressure

Within the labyrinth, Yuma and Shinigami face Mystery Phantoms, embodiments of conflicting arguments. Deduction sequences, logic puzzles, and mini-games require the correct evidence to cut through deception, assemble the facts, and reveal the person behind each crime.
