Megadimension Neptunia VII is a role-playing game developed by Compile Heart and published by Idea Factory. Set in Gamindustri, it follows Neptune, Nepgear, and the other CPUs through a story divided into three connected arcs.

The adventure moves from a desolate alternate Gamindustri to conflicts involving the rising Gold Third group, before bringing its dimensional threats together for a final confrontation. English and Japanese language options are available.

Three-part story

Zerodimension Neptunia Z: Twilight of the Desperate CPU sends Neptune and Nepgear to a dying world, where they encounter the CPU Uzume Tennouboshi and the Dark CPU. Hyperdimension Neptunia G: Gold Third Unleash focuses on the established CPUs after they are weakened and overtaken in popularity by Gold Third. Heartdimension Neptunia H: Trilogy Finale: And Into Legend unites the major dangers from the earlier arcs.

Battle systems

Combat uses turn-based encounters with an emphasis on party placement and tactical use of area attacks. Players can target individual enemy parts through the Part Break system, weakening opponents and potentially earning items. Next Form transformations grant CPUs stronger forms with enhanced abilities, while giant enemy battles call for different positioning and strategies.

Exploration and activities

Dungeons contain enemies, treasures, and routes to uncover. Route Building lets players connect locations to open hidden paths, while Chirper presents in-world messages and quests from NPCs provide additional objectives. Character equipment, party combinations, customization, and nation share management add further choices outside of battle.
