Metroid Prime Remastered brings Samus Aran's first-person mission on Tallon IV to Nintendo Switch. After answering a distress signal from a Space Pirate frigate, Samus follows the pirates to the planet, where their experiments with the mutagenic substance Phazon threaten its environments and inhabitants.

This action-adventure combines exploration, combat, platforming, and puzzle-solving across interconnected locations. Enhanced visuals and refined controls accompany Samus's investigation into the Space Pirates, the planet's corrupted creatures, and the remnants of the Chozo civilization.

Explore Tallon IV

Tallon IV is composed of distinct environments, including forests and volcanic caverns. Progress depends on revisiting areas as new equipment opens routes that were previously unreachable. Environmental details, logs, and Chozo artifacts gradually reveal the planet's history and the wider danger posed by Phazon.

Samus's Tools and Upgrades

Samus uses her arm cannon and beam weapons against alien enemies and major boss encounters. Different visor modes assist with scanning the environment, identifying enemy weaknesses, and finding concealed paths. The Morph Ball allows access to tight passages and supports puzzles designed around its movement.

First-Person Action and Discovery

Combat calls for observation as well as firepower, with enemy vulnerabilities and environmental clues playing an important role.
