Minecraft Story Mode: Season Two is an adventure game for Nintendo Switch, developed by Mojang and Telltale Games and published by Telltale Games. Released on July 11, 2017, it continues Jesse's story after the events of the first season.

Jesse has become a recognized hero, and life in Beacontown has grown more routine. That changes during a mining trip with Petra, when the discovery of an ancient gauntlet sets a new crisis in motion.

A New Threat

The gauntlet's discovery draws Jesse and friends into a conflict with the Admin, also known as Romeo. As this powerful figure disrupts the world, the group travels through varied Minecraft-inspired dimensions in search of allies and a way to stop him. The journey brings together returning characters and new companions while placing Jesse in difficult situations.

Choices Shape the Journey

Like the first season, Season Two centers on interactive storytelling. Dialogue decisions can affect the direction of the narrative and Jesse's relationships with other characters, giving players different outcomes to pursue. Moral dilemmas are part of the adventure as Jesse responds to the Admin's growing threat.

Adventure Gameplay

Players guide Jesse through environments, speak with characters, inspect objects, and solve environmental puzzles to advance. Action scenes use quick-time events, while exploration offers opportunities to uncover details across the worlds visited. The result combines Telltale's narrative adventure approach with the recognizable setting and characters of Minecraft.
