Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered is a racing game from Electronic Arts, released for Nintendo Switch on November 13, 2020. It returns to the rivalry between illegal street racers and the police officers determined to stop them.

Set in the open roads of Seacrest County, the game emphasizes fast arcade driving, high-speed chases, and vehicle-based tactics. Players can pursue separate careers as a racer or a cop, taking on events that build their standing on either side of the conflict.

Racers and Police

Racers focus on winning events, escaping law enforcement, and building a reputation, while police drivers work to apprehend targets and maintain control of the roads. The two roles feature different vehicles, abilities, and progression, framing the game around opposing approaches to every pursuit.

Pursuit Technology

Licensed exotic cars can be given different paint jobs, while the Autolog system compares player statistics and presents asynchronous challenges. Cross-platform multiplayer is also included.
