Nine Nights – Martial Ci Lang Story is an action RPG for Nintendo Switch centered on Ci Lang, a young warrior whose past is tied to an ancient prophecy. His search for the truth behind the recurring Nine Nights phenomenon leads through a realm threatened by mounting chaos.

Eastern martial arts lore frames a tale of honor, betrayal, personal conflict, and self-discovery. Ci Lang meets masters, enemies, and allies whose relationships can be shaped by decisions made throughout the journey.

Martial arts combat

Real-time battles emphasize timing, defensive movement, and learning enemy behavior rather than relying only on repeated attacks. Ci Lang can use weapons and hand-to-hand techniques, while elemental abilities expand both combat options and puzzle-solving possibilities. Strategic boss encounters test skill combinations and precise execution.

Exploration and growth

The game features broad environments ranging from cities to mountain monasteries. Exploration can reveal side quests, hidden paths, resources, artifacts, and additional lore. Character progression unlocks skills and abilities, allowing players to develop Ci Lang around their preferred approach to combat.

Choices in the story

The Story Switch mechanic places narrative decisions at the center of the adventure. These choices can alter the direction of the storyline and affect Ci Lang’s relationships, adding consequences to the investigation of the Nine Nights and its power.
