Nobody Saves the World is an action-adventure role-playing game from DrinkBox Studios, released for Nintendo Switch on April 14, 2022. The player begins as Nobody, an amnesiac figure who awakens with a mysterious wand and the ability to transform.

With the Guild of Heroes gone and a dark Calamity threatening the land, Nobody sets out to uncover the crisis, restore the missing Guild, and protect the world. The journey introduces unusual characters, competing factions, humorous moments, and quests that reveal more about the setting.

Transforming Forms

Form-shifting is central to the adventure. Nobody can unlock transformations including the Rat, Ranger, Ghost, and Dragon, each with its own attacks, special moves, and passive traits. Forms gain levels through quests and combat, opening additional abilities and increasing their potential.

Custom Abilities

Abilities are not limited to their original forms. Skills can be combined across transformations to build customized loadouts, allowing different offensive, defensive, and utility-focused approaches. Experimenting with these combinations is important when facing varied enemies, dungeon challenges, and puzzles.

World and Combat

The hand-drawn world contains dungeons, secrets, and hundreds of quests. Real-time battles emphasize choosing the right form and using its strengths effectively, while status effects and energy use add further considerations. Earlier locations can also be revisited after new forms become available.

Co-op Play

Nobody Saves the World supports local and online cooperative play, letting two players explore and take on difficult encounters together.
