Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm

04 About Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm

Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm is an action-adventure game from Cornfox & Bros, released for Nintendo Switch on October 28, 2020. Set in the realm of Arcadia, it follows a young Knight facing the return of Mesmeroth and his Dark Militia.

The journey combines third-person exploration, real-time battles, environmental puzzles, quests, and equipment upgrades. Players travel through varied locations while seeking artifacts, uncovering Arcadia’s past, and building alliances against a growing threat.

A quest across Arcadia

Arcadia contains forests, deserts, ancient ruins, hidden routes, secret chests, and characters who provide quests or information. The central conflict calls on the Knight to unite the realm’s people and races while investigating mysteries tied to the world, the Caster gun, and the hero’s destiny.

Combat and Caster spells

Battles use sword-based melee attacks alongside the Caster gun’s ranged elemental spells. Weapons, shields, and Caster spells can be collected and upgraded, while resource use becomes important in more demanding encounters. Side activities and challenges offer additional rewards and lore.

Puzzles and companions

Environmental puzzles are woven into exploration and call for observation and logic. Companions accompany the Knight, contributing distinct abilities that can assist both in fights and in solving particular obstacles. Day-and-night changes and dynamic weather also shape the atmosphere of the adventure.
