Planet of Lana is an adventure and puzzle game for Nintendo Switch, released on April 16, 2024 and published by Thunderful. It follows Lana as she travels through an alien world disrupted by a silent mechanical invasion.

After Lana’s sister is taken by the invaders, she joins forces with Mui, a small creature whose abilities are essential to their journey. Their search leads across forests, ancient ruins, and hazardous caverns.

Lana and Mui

The relationship between Lana and Mui is central to both the story and the challenges they encounter. Lana can direct Mui to reach places she cannot access, distract robotic enemies, and help operate the environment. Progress depends on using the pair’s different strengths together.

Puzzle-Platforming Adventure

Gameplay combines platforming, environmental puzzles, exploration, and stealth. Players observe each area, time their movements, and use commands carefully to bypass obstacles or evade mechanical threats. Some routes and secrets reward patient exploration, while visual and sound cues can point toward solutions.

A World Under Threat

The journey unfolds through hand-painted alien landscapes that were once peaceful before the machines arrived. As Lana and Mui press onward, their adventure explores friendship, courage, survival, and the effort to restore peace to their world.

Languages

Planet of Lana includes English, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian, Korean, and Chinese language support.
