Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1 is a puzzle-horror game from Mob Entertainment, released for Nintendo Switch on December 25, 2023. It takes place inside Playtime Co., an abandoned toy factory whose staff disappeared ten years earlier.

Playing as a former employee returning after receiving a cryptic letter, you investigate the factory’s silent halls, forgotten toys, and scattered clues to uncover what happened there.

A Factory Full of Secrets

The deserted Playtime Co. facility holds fragments of its troubled history, including VHS tapes and other evidence left behind. As the investigation progresses, the seemingly cheerful mascot Huggy Wuggy becomes a dangerous presence within the factory.

GrabPack Puzzle-Solving

Exploration centers on the GrabPack, a backpack fitted with extendable arms. It can be used to interact with distant objects, reach inaccessible places, and handle electrical puzzles that block the way forward.

Stealth and Escapes

Progress requires careful movement through dark corridors and play areas while avoiding animated toys. Environmental interaction, hiding, evasion, and tense chase sequences all play a role as new routes through the factory are opened.
