Rainbow Skies

04 About Rainbow Skies

Rainbow Skies is an adventure, role-playing, and strategy game set in the troubled world of Arca, where two parallel worlds face a possible collision. The story follows young monster tamer Damion after a failed final exam connects him to the disappearance of a powerful artifact.

Joined by Layne and Ashly, Damion travels through towns, landscapes, and dangerous dungeons in search of answers. Their journey encounters allies, enemies, humorous moments, and unexpected developments while exploring ideas of friendship, destiny, and heroism.

Tactical Battles

Combat uses turn-based encounters on a grid, emphasizing positioning, planning, and elemental advantages. Party composition and preparation matter when facing stronger enemies and bosses, while skills, equipment, and magical scrolls expand strategic options.

Monsters and Character Growth

Players can recruit and train more than 100 monsters to fight alongside the main party. Character development includes skill trees, equipment choices, monster companions, and abilities learned through scrolls, allowing different approaches to encounters.

Exploration Across Arca

A large world map contains varied environments, settlements, dungeons, hidden locations, treasure, and optional tasks. Side quests, challenges, fishing, and other mini-games provide activities beyond the central adventure.

Release Details

Rainbow Skies was released for Nintendo Switch on August 11, 2023. It is published and developed by eastasiasoft, with English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish language support.
