Riptide GP: Renegade is a racing game from Vector Unit for Nintendo Switch, released on December 07, 2017. It puts players aboard powerful hydrojets for fast arcade-style races through futuristic aquatic settings.

The campaign follows a racer framed and expelled from the official Riptide GP league. Forced into underground competition, the racer climbs through increasingly demanding events and boss encounters in pursuit of redemption.

Speed, stunts, and boost

Races combine hydrojet handling with airborne tricks and tactical boost use. Stunts refill the boost meter, creating opportunities to accelerate past rivals, recover after mistakes, or gain ground on long straights. Smooth cornering and well-timed boosts are important for maintaining momentum.

Dangerous race environments

Courses feature changing, interactive surroundings, including collapsing industrial areas, storm-hit cities, moving obstacles, alternate paths, and hidden shortcuts. Learning each circuit’s layout can help racers find faster lines and use jumps to build boost.

Career progression and customization

Career events offer progression through underground hydrojet racing, with opponents and boss challenges along the way. Players can unlock hydrojets and rider characters, then adjust their machines with performance upgrades and paint schemes. Available languages include English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Russian.
