Skautfold Usurper is a 2D action RPG set in a ruined world consumed by the Moonscourge, a cosmic plague that turns its victims into grotesque creatures. Players take the role of a resurrected warrior seeking the source of the affliction amid a civilization in collapse.

Its bleak adventure moves through decaying cities, forgotten catacombs, and stranger otherworldly locations. The narrative is presented through environmental details and cryptic notes, gradually revealing the history behind the plague and the usurpation.

Demanding Combat

Survival depends on deliberate, precise combat. Dodging, parrying, stamina control, and reading enemy attacks are central to facing dangerous foes. Boss encounters further test timing and resource management, while different weapons, armor, abilities, and upgrades provide ways to shape the warrior's approach.

Exploration and Atmosphere

The game features a non-linear, interconnected pixel-art world with hidden routes, secrets, traps, and lore fragments to uncover. Its dark fantasy setting draws on cosmic horror, pairing oppressive environments with encounters against both desperate humans and ancient eldritch threats.
