04 About Soccer Story

Soccer Story combines sports action, role-playing, puzzles, and exploration in a world where soccer has been forbidden for an entire year. With Peace Inc. enforcing the ban, a young protagonist discovers a magical soccer ball and sets out to return the game to the people.

The adventure moves through quirky locations populated by characters, teams, quests, secrets, and challenges. Progress involves rebuilding a squad, facing rival teams, and uncovering the truth behind the prohibition on soccer.

Soccer beyond the pitch

The magical ball is useful both during matches and while exploring. It can be kicked at objects in the environment to interact with the world and solve physics-based puzzles, making soccer skills part of the adventure outside the stadium.

Build a team

Players can recruit and train a range of team members with their own abilities. Choosing a balanced lineup and developing character and team abilities supports different approaches against opposing sides.

Matches and progression

Soccer matches focus on passing, tackling, shooting, and tactical team control. Powerful Zen Kicks offer an additional option during play, while quests, collectibles, NPC conversations, and hidden discoveries contribute to progression through the story.
