The Grisaia Trilogy brings together three visual novel chapters: The Fruit of Grisaia, The Labyrinth of Grisaia, and The Eden of Grisaia. Released for Nintendo Switch in 2019, it is an adventure title from PROTOTYPE with English and Japanese language support.

The series centers on Yuuji Kazami, a transfer student at Mihama Academy, where he meets five female students carrying difficult personal histories. Across the trilogy, their relationships and Yuuji's own past shape an interconnected drama.

Three-part narrative

The Fruit of Grisaia introduces Yuuji's arrival at the small academy and his involvement with its students. The Labyrinth of Grisaia turns its attention toward his background, including his family, military career, and the events that influenced his life. The Eden of Grisaia continues from those revelations as the consequences of his past threaten the academy and its residents.

Visual novel choices

Gameplay is built around reading dialogue, internal monologues, character artwork, and music. Player decisions can lead the story toward different character routes and outcomes, with multiple endings available. Revisiting choices offers additional perspectives on the cast and their connected stories.

Presentation and extras

Character sprites and background art accompany the text-driven narrative, while the soundtrack supports its changing emotional tone. An in-game gallery allows unlocked scenes to be viewed again after they have been encountered.
