Trinity Trigger is a role-playing game set in Trinitia, a world caught between the Gods of Order and the Gods of Chaos. Cyan, a young man from a peaceful village, learns that he has become a Proxy for the Gods of Chaos and is drawn into a struggle that could determine humanity's future.

Joined by companions known as Triggers, Cyan sets out to resist the path imposed by the gods. These mystical allies take the form of weapons, helping the party confront powerful enemies while pursuing answers about ancient prophecies and Trinitia's history.

Action RPG combat

Battles unfold in real time, with players able to control any of three main characters and change between them during combat. Each character has a distinct fighting style, while Trigger transformations provide access to weapon types such as swords, bows, and axes. Dodging, blocking, and recognizing enemy weaknesses are central to handling difficult encounters.

Exploration and progression

The journey moves through open fields, towns, dungeons, and puzzle-filled areas. Exploring away from the main route can reveal treasures, hidden paths, resources, equipment, and stat improvements. Weapons and armor can be upgraded to strengthen the party for tougher foes and bosses.

A world shaped by divine conflict

Trinitia has long endured a war between opposing gods, whose chosen Proxies fight on their behalf. Cyan and his companions investigate the forces behind this cycle of destruction, seeking a way to defy the gods' expectations and create a different future.
