Whispike Survivors is an action-focused survival game from Grimorio of Games for Nintendo Switch. Players confront growing crowds of Whisps in fast-paced runs built around movement, positioning, and choosing upgrades as pressure intensifies.

The world has been thrown into chaos by spike-covered creatures that emerged from an unknown rift. As one of the survivors entering infected areas, players fight to endure the invasion while seeking clues about the Whisps and their origin.

Survival Through Movement

Combat uses automatic attacks, leaving players free to concentrate on dodging enemies, gathering experience gems, and avoiding encirclement. Defeated foes provide experience that raises the character's level and opens choices for new weapons, augmentations, and passive abilities.

Builds, Characters, and Progression

Upgrade decisions shape each attempt, with weapon and passive combinations offering different approaches to enemy waves. Multiple survivors can be unlocked, each with distinct starting weapons and special skills. Currency earned during runs supports persistent upgrades and access to additional characters.

Maps and Enemy Pressure

Runs take place across distinct environments with their own enemy types and environmental challenges. Rare pickups and hidden discoveries can provide temporary boosts or lasting improvements, while varied Whisp attack patterns encourage players to adapt their movement and build choices.
