Yu-Gi-Oh! RUSH DUEL: Dawn of the Battle Royale!! is a role-playing card game for Nintendo Switch developed by Matrix Software and published by Konami. Set in Goha City, it follows a new duelist entering a world where Rush Duels have become a major phenomenon.

The adventure features characters from the Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS anime alongside original characters. As the story develops, players explore city districts, face rival duelists, learn more about the Goha Corporation, and pursue the title of Battle Royale champion.

Rush Duel Rules

Rush Duels use a quicker ruleset than traditional Yu-Gi-Oh! play. Players can perform multiple Normal Summons in a turn and draw until they have five cards at the start of each turn. These rules keep hands refreshed and encourage frequent attacks, rapid decisions, and changing board positions.

Deck Building and Strategy

Custom decks can be assembled from a large card collection that includes cards from Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS. Monster effects, Spell Cards, and Trap Cards can be combined to form different strategies. Managing the steady flow of cards and finding effective combinations are central to overcoming opposing duelists.

Story Progression

The single-player story ties duels to the events unfolding across Goha City. New cards and characters become available as players advance through its challenges, tournaments, and encounters. Anime-style visuals and duel animations present the action as cards and monsters enter play.

Additional Duels

Beyond the story, the game supports battles with friends through local multiplayer as well as online play.
