Zombie Army Trilogy is an action-adventure game set in an alternate version of World War II, where Hitler responds to impending defeat with Plan Z: an army of the dead. Europe is plunged into chaos as survivors fight through ruined cities, catacombs, and other zombie-filled locations.

Developed and published by RebellionInteract, the trilogy combines its dark B-movie horror premise with third-person combat and precision sniping. It released for Nintendo Switch on March 31, 2020, with language options including English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Russian.

Three campaigns against the undead

The game spans three campaigns following the outbreak from its beginning toward a desperate final confrontation. Players face Hitler's undead legions, uncover the mystery behind Plan Z, and battle grotesque enemies ranging from shambling zombies to armored foes and super-mutants.

Sniping and survival combat

Combat builds on sniper-focused mechanics, rewarding accurate headshots while placing players under pressure from large zombie waves. World War II-era rifles, shotguns, and explosive equipment support different approaches, while traps and environmental hazards can be used to reduce advancing hordes. Limited ammunition and health resources make careful positioning and weapon use important.

Co-operative horde battles

Zombie Army Trilogy supports online and local co-operative campaign play for up to four players. Team coordination can help squads cover multiple directions, revive allies, and deal with specialized enemies. Horde Mode adds wave-based survival challenges across atmospheric maps, with increasingly chaotic encounters demanding mobility, shared resources, and defensive planning.
